Sims named to TSWA all-state

It’s not uncommon for a volleyball player to have an outstanding regular season performance. Something that isn’t so common is for the same player to have just as stellar of an offseason. But when it comes to Graham Lady Blues player Jasmine Sims the process is just simply natural. This past weekend it was officially announced the junior Lady Blues setter was named to the Texas Sports Writers Association Class 4A all-state team. Sims received honorable mention honors at the setter position. She was the only player from district 6-4A to be named on the TSWA all-state list. The award simply adds to Sims’ excellent postseason resume. At the end of 2016, Sims was named as a member of the Texas Girls Coaches Association 1A-4A blue squad for the annual TGCA All-Star game this July.
