In their final contest before district play, the Lady Blues volleyball team completed one of the season’s best wins against the Lady Trojans in Windthorst Tuesday night. Graham took the first set 25-21 before falling 25-23 in the second. After the second set, the Blues came alive with impressive wins of 25-15 and 25-14 to close out the match. “I thought third and fourth sets were really good,” coach Marci Faulk said. “We weren’t playing terrible before that, but we didn’t play as clean and tight as we should have been. The passing wasn’t good, which limits your hitting. Things got a lot better in those last two sets.” Jasmine Sims continued her five-game streak of triple-doubles with 17 kills, 16 assists and 17 digs. Sims also added three aces and two blocks in the win. Sims wasn’t the only player to finish with double digits on the defensive side.
