Summer Reading
The Library of Graham will have its grand finale drawing at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, for the summer reading program. Top readers will be announced and prizes will be awarded. Children must be present to win prizes from drawings. For information, call the library at 549-0600.
OPOMAC Exhibit
Artist Carol Williard will be featured in a One-Woman-Art Show through Friday at the Old Post Office Museum and Art Center on the Downtown Square. Regular hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Musical
Graham Regional Theatre’s ninth production and musical, “Mame” will be in town at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Graham Memorial Auditorium. All general admission seats are $10. Tickets are available at the Graham Chamber of Commerce or at the door.
Sunday, Aug. 1
Chapel Meeting
The annual Hawkins Chapel meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, on the grounds of Hawkins Chapel north of Loving. A business meeting for the Hawkins Chapel Cemetery will be at noon, followed with a picnic luncheon and visitation. The traditional meetings are to honor the memory of the dead and to preserve the cemetery. All interested are invited to attend. Kenneth Palmer (940) 550-5449, Jolene Jones (940) 550-5191. Monday, Aug. 2
Republican Women
The Young County Republican Women will meet at noon Monday, August 2, at the American Legion building. A buffet lunch is available by reservation. Guest speaker will be Shannon McGauley, president of the “Texas Minutemen,” who will speak on the Texas-Mexico border and illegal immigrant entry into the U.S.
Vacation Bible School
First Presbyterian Church will have “Seuss On The Loose” vacation Bible school for grades kindergarten through fifth from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, Aug. 2 through 6, at the church. Call to register. Veronica or Karen (940) 549-1008.

Blood Drive
An American Red Cross blood drive will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the American Legion Building. Call for information or to schedule an appointment. Martha McClanahan at (940) 550-4162.
BFAC Camp
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will have an art camp Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 3 through 6, at the center located at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. Children, ages 4 through kindergarten, will attend from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; first through second grade, 10:45 a.m. to noon; and third through sixth grade, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Pre-register by Thursday, July 29.
