Multi-media Painting
North Central Texas College will host multi-media painting classes for beginner and intermediate artists from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday through March 10, at NCTC. Cost is $99. Veila Guinn, artist, will instruct the classes. Classes are open to teens age 15 and up. (940) 521-0720.
Nominations Accepted
Fort Belknap Water Supply Corp. will accept nominations to the board of directors until Monday, March 8. The board meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month. Fort Belknap, 315 Fifth St., (940) 549-6922.
Nunsense Musical
Graham Memorial Auditorium will present the musical “Nunsense” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the auditorium. The musical will feature star turns, tap, ballet dancing, an audience quiz and comic surprises. Tickets cost $10.
Sunday, Feb. 7
GCA Meeting
The Graham Concert Association will have its annual general membership meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday in McCree Hall of First United Methodist Church. There will be an election of new officers and board members, a financial report and selection of programs for the 2010-11 season. GCA ticket holders are encouraged to attend.
Monday, Feb. 8
GO Center
Graham Education and Workforce Center’s GO Center will teach scholarship application tips at 6 p.m. Monday at GEWC. Billie Gorham, career counselor, will discuss how to apply for college tuition.
Tuesday, Feb. 9
OPOMAC Show
An exhibit featuring The National Theater will begin Tuesday and continue through Feb. 26 at the Old Post Office Museum and Art Center. Memorabilia from The Nation will be exhibited during the museums’s regular hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Blood Drive
A Graham community blood drive will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion Hall. Call to make an appointment. Martha McClanahan (940) 550-4162.
Clogging Classes
The Breckenridge Hotfooter Cloggers will offer clogging classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced students at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday in Breckenridge. The dance club meets at 5 p.m. every Tuesday at 109 N. Baylor St. Shirley Anderson (254) 559-2567 or (254) 246-1972.
Desk & Derrick
The Desk & Derrick Club of Graham will hold its monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Graham Country Club. Dee Hertig, landman with S.B. Street Operating, Inc. will present the program on land work and leasing. The meeting is for those employed in the oil, gas and affiliated industry and those interested in learning more about Desk and Derrick. Carole Howard, membership chairman (940) 549-3344.
Preschool Story Time
The Library of Graham will have preschool story time at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Storytime includes stories and crafts.

CRCG Fair
Young County CRCG will host a professional networking and resource fair titled “Heroes Fighting for Families,” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, 700 Third St. The fair is for professional helping organizations and volunteers helping children and family and will not be open to the general public. Tax Assistance
The American Association for Retired Persons Tax Aide Program in cooperation with the IRS will provide free tax assistance to middle and low-income taxpayers every Wednesday by appointment through April 14, at the Graham Senior Citizens Center at 825 Fairview St. Taxpayers should bring Social Security cards for each family member, a copy of last year’s return, W-2s, 1099s and any other forms that will affect taxes.
